Fees and Submission Guidelines

All editing is done electronically and on a selective basis, as time allows. Contact me to see how my schedule looks. If I can meet your deadline, I'll give you the okay to e-mail your copy to me as a Word document and give you a fast turnaround. Tracking is provided on all documents. Except for book manuscript editing and critiquing jobs, which have different fee structures, all editing or writing work below will be billed at $60/hour, payable through PayPal. An initial deposit of half the estimated amount for the total job will be due prior to beginning the work, and balance will be payable in full prior to delivery of the finished work. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.  |
GENERAL WRITING/EDITING SERVICES. Although I specialize in editing book
manuscripts, when I have time in my schedule I can also check your regular
business documents, advertising materials, and other publications before
they are printed, published, or distributed to customers, clients, or other
business contacts. I'll fix things that could cause you embarrassment or
loss of business. I will also "clean up" or add punch to your brochure or
news release copy, or edit newsletters or articles prior to their
publication on the Web.

out to an attorney to write for you, you'll save a bundle by letting me help you
refine your rough draft so all you have to do is let an attorney read the
finished document and double-check its content from a legal standpoint. (See

BOOK MANUSCRIPT EDITING/CRITIQUING SERVICES. Perhaps you’re finished with the writing of your book, but now feel
nervous about your use of grammar or punctuation. Or maybe you think
some of your sentences could be improved, or the writing “tightened” a bit.
Perhaps you think your content isn’t as well organized as it could be for
clarity. (Sometimes a simple modification in how information is presented
can make all the difference to readers’ understanding of content.) If
